Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Professor Bubba. I am here today to teach you how to communicate with your mommies and daddies. Parents speak a useless gibberish language that needlessly uses "consonants."

You see, to begin teaching you parents to communicate you must vow never to make any of these "consonant" sounds. You must stick with pointing, grunting and "oooohing."

If you keep this up for for long enough your mommies and daddies will soon learn your language too!

Great Sunday

We had a really great day yesterday. We went to the Capital building, played at the park, walked around. Such a fun day. I'll update with pictures as soon as B brings the camera back from school!

almost the weekend!

We are in tge homestretch! Friday morning and a few things to do:
Clean the kitchen
Vacuum and swiffer the floors
Grocery shop
Laundry!

The list never really ends, does it? I am looking forward to a break in the monsoon soon. We have a tropical storm passing through. I dont really like it. Tomorrow we are heading downtown to work on a photography project for B (and maybe lunch?) and maybe the flea market. Nice and relaxing. Love it!

I'm raising such a foodie.

I worked at the studio last night until 8:00ish. Micah hangs out with one of the super awesome high schoolers and plays with the preschool's toys. It works out well for everyone!

{sidenote: Micah has been waking up in the middle of the night crying for no reason. Pedi deduced that it might be because he gets hungry. We have started to give him a snack before bed. Usually cheerios and milk. We're fancy like that. }

So, last night we get home and I made myself some bruschetta. Micah signed "more" several times and so for his "midnight snack" he had tomatoe slices and 2 wedges of laughing cow cheese.
If only he had some grape juice to finish off his snack...

Honey Do List

We have an ever growing "To Do" List for our house. Here is a sampling of the projects.

1. hang curtains in living room
2. paint kitchen
3. hang chalkboard in kitchen
4. paint living room
5. set up TV stand
6. paint M's bathroom
7. finish sewing m's bedding
8. hang curtain rods in our bedroom
9. make valances for our bedroom
10. make curtains for the office
11. make pillows for bedroom and living room.
12. make placemats

and it goes on and on!

A Lot Going On...

We have had SO much going on lately. I can't catch my breath! I woke up this morning to find a nakie baby in the crib. micah unsnapped his onesie and took off his diaper. Fresh sheets replaced the peed on ones. Micah has officially mastered the word "NO!" and uses it with reckless abandon.
Me: Do you want some milk?
Micah: No!
Me: Do you want some O's?
Micah: No!
(Micah starts signing more because he actually does want milk and cheerios) and we start the process all over!
We didn't get any cute pics on halloween, so I am going to try and get some when it's sunny out. Stay tuned. I also have ear infections in both ears and a sinus infection. :( no fun. I am ready for a big, long, nap, and I think a massage would be nice too.

I tried to be a fancy mom today and I made bread for M's grilled cheese at lunch and some sweet potato fries. Neither were much of a hit, although micah did like slices of the bread without cheese on them.

I am sewing a ton and have three more orders to finish. Then I will be working on x-mas presents!
