Speech Therapy

Micah had his first session of speech therapy today. It was like a directed play session. The speech therapist comes to our house and plays with micah. She taught him the sign for "me" and he started using it which was nice to see. He isn't using many words right now and so she had some great tips on how I can help him with his speech. He cried when she left! No stranger anxiety here!

My Kid is Awesome

It started on Monday with a runny nose and overall yucky feeling from me. By Wednesday Micah was snotty, and by Thursday Brian had it too. ugh. So now we're all snotty and tired, but feeling better.

I taught Micah the word bubble yesterday while we were playing with the bubble machine. Today I woke up with a cold and so my nose was runny and gross all day. Today micah pointed to my dripping nose and said, "bubble!"

eeew!

Happy Valentine's Day!

So, apparently Micah is already quite the heartbreaker...

I went in to the dance studio on Friday and Ashlyn, a very sweet and awesome 7 year old dancer, gave me a Valentine for Micah. It reads

"Dear Micah,

I hope you have the best Valentine's Day in the whole universe!!!!

Love, Ashlyn"

How cute is that?!?!

Her mom later told me that she even used her Christmas money to buy him the goldfish! She also asked her mom how old she needs to be to babysit Micah and is now counting down the 7 years she has left!

I love APA! The families there have really become like a second family to us!

So, I am waiting to hear about a job that I interviewed for and REALLY want, micah is refusing to take a nap and it's windy outside.

Fortunately, the sun is shining, we have food in our bellies and a roof over our head.

We went to the store today and bought big boy undies too. eek! Although It would be pretty sweet to have apotty trained 2 year old. :)

2. This jacket from Target. I really think it's cuter on. Julie from Joy's hope just wore it in her photo shoot, and you know how obsessive and compulsive I am...

4. A cheap canopy bed on craigslist that I can spray paint and have a photo shoot like Julie did with Drew B. My favorite photographer, Emily Camp has been coerced is happy to oblige

Weird Dream.

I have been having bad issues with nausea lately. Fortunately Brian works at a GI office. :)

Anyway, I went to bed feeling nauseated and had a dream that I somehow ingested carpet cleaner and had to make myself throw it up. I did and felt better.

Blog Stalking

One of my favorite things to do is to blog stalk. All of the blogs on my blog list I LOVE and check just about everyday. I love crafty blogs and one of my favorites http://www.dana-made-it.com/ is having a BOY theme this month filled with all boy tutorials! Needless to say, I'm stoked and am already loving day one. :)

Another one of my favorites is www.joyshope.com Julie, is actually the friend of a friend and I am obsessed with her blog. It's full of amazing cuteness and ideas. Go look at her most recent photoshoot. I am in love and currently scouring craigslist for a bed I can spray paint!

www.lilblueboo.blogspot.com is also an awesome blog! Ashley is SO creative and has great tutorials for the stuff she makes. I love her sewing patters... now I just need a baby girl to put them on!

www.crapivemade.blogspot.com is another awesome blog! She has 4 kids and has really creative ideas.
