Winner Winner Chicken Dinner
Brian and I made such a yummy dinner tonight! We used a Huttlinger family favorite: Planet Hollywood's Cap'n Crunch Chicken as inspiration and brian came up with baked nuggets. They were SO good and Micah even ate quite a few which is awesome because he has been picky lately.

pizza dough
I have a love hate relationship with pizza dough. I found a really great recipe for my bread maker and have made it about 5 times. It's only successfully worked about 2 of those times. In all fairness, one time I forgot to add the mixing attachment, one time i only added 2 out of the 3 cups of flour and then one time it is a mystery. Today I made some veggie pizza for lunch. Usually I use the pillsbury pre-made dough, but today I thought I would be healthy and resourceful and make it my self. I used whole wheat flour and added some ground flaxseed to it too!
EEEW.
WIll not be trying that version again. We ended up with the cool ranch doritos that were the side dish.

Can't wait to try this!
I'm mostly putting this recipe on here so that I can find it again later, but I really want to try this corn chowder. yum yum! Its from my friend Melissa at Silver Tide Photography.
3 red potatos cubed (1in or smaller)
4 stalks of celery
about 1.5 cups of carrots diced
one red onion diced
2 cloves of garlic, 1 can of whole corn (with liquid),
1 can of creamed corn,
basil,
salt/pepper,
2 tbsp butter,
1... 1/4 cup of water,
2 or 3 cubes chicken boullion
crock pot it. Cook on low for 8ish hours, or 5 on high, mix a little half and half or whipping cream with about 1.5 tbsp corn starch to thicken, then add 10oz cream to the crock pot w/ the starch mixture and let cook for another 30 mins. I added some red pepper flakes (like a teaspoon, maybe 2, I like it a little spicy), and a good dose of Lawrey's Seasoning salt, and because I was especially lazy - added a large can of chicken chunks.
Yum! Seriously.

Delicious Dinner!!
I like to participate in blog hops and this is a good one!
Here is one of my favorite dinner recipes!
4 or 5 skinless, boneless chicken breasts (cooked and cut into 1 inch chunks)
1 8. oz container of sour cream
1 can of cream of chicken soup
Topping:
1 1/2 tube of ritz crackers
1 1/2 sticks of butter/margarine
Preheat oven to 350. Once chicken is cooked through, combine chicken, sour cream and cream of chicken soup in med. mixing bowl. Stir until chicken is coated and spread mixture in the bottom of 11 x 7 baking dish (9 x 13 will work too). In a small mixing bowl, crush crackers and then stir in melted butter. Spread cracker mixture over the top of the casserole. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until crackers are golden brown.
Heaven in a bowl. Le me tell ya'!
