Micah had just about outgrown his maxi-cosi priori carseat and i was torn about what to do. If i put him in a high back booster seat he would probably climb out and be crazy, but they're cheap. If i put him in another 5 point harness he'd probably be the safest, but they're more expensive.
After several months of researching, deal hunting, and changing my mind i found a great deal on a 5 point harness carseat. My mother in law put it on her target card so we could save 5%, plus we had a coupon, plus it was on sale with free shipping. So, i got a great deal, but the carseat was pink and brown! I decided that micah would just have to rock the pink carseat, but after a few days i couldn't bring myself to make him sit in a pink carseat.
I found a pattern for his carseat and got to work. My goal was to find all of the supplies in my craft closet, and i succeeded! It looks a little crazy and mismatched, but it is finished and not pink! Micah loves his whale carseat and i do too!!
